Do Flex 96-channel pipettes require tip loaders?

In order to pick up tips, Opentrons Flex 96-channel pipettes require the tip rack to be located in the 96-channel tip rack adapter. When you purchase a Flex 96-channel pipette, it comes with four 96-channel tip rack adapters.
Does the Flex 96 channel pipette support changing channel volume for tip pickup?

Yes, Opentrons Flex users will be able to offset the 96-channel pipette head to pick up 8 tips (1 column). This functionality is only available through the Python API.
