Can HEPA modules be used to treat pathogens?

Yes! When performing multiple protocols on a thermal shaker, it may be necessary to heat but not vibrate the module, which is supported by the thermal shaker.
Do HEPA modules use positive or negative pressure?

The HEPA module uses positive pressure to provide a sterile working environment inside the OT-2, as shown in the illustration on page 2 of our HEPA module white paper.
Is the HEPA module a stand-alone unit?

The Opentrons HEPA module is intended for use with our OT-2 and is not available as a standalone unit.
