Flex pipettes use air displacement technology to perform high-precision pipetting from 1 to 1000 μL. The pipette is equipped with smart sensors that provide automatic calibration, real-time positioning and error detection. Flex's Z-axis gantry can install any two Flex single-channel or 8-channel pipettes, or configure a Flex 96-channel pipette separately. You can match the appropriate pipette according to experimental needs and replace it at any time.
Flex adapts to your experimental workflow
Opentrons hardware modules are independently developed, produced and tested by Opentrons and can be perfectly adapted to Opentrons pipetting workstations and software. Each Opentrons FLex module has a mounting bracket that can be securely mounted below the deck to bring laboratory equipment closer to the deck surface, and the mounting bracket can rationally store cables, making the entire system look cleaner and more beautiful.
The Opentrons Flex rotating plate gripper is installed on the Z-axis gantry, which can realize the function of clamping laboratory equipment on the platform, and can move the rotating plate up and down on modules such as magnetic bead separation plates or thermal cyclers. It can also be moved to the side panel to replenish tips or labware. Thermal Cycler Module [GEN2] The Opentrons Thermal Cycler Module [GEN2] is a fully automatic thermal cycler that provides PCR functionality in a 96-well plate format. The thermal cycle module is equipped with a heated upper cover and a disposable sealing film to ensure effective heating of the sample and reduce sample evaporation loss. Temperature Control Module [GEN2] The Opentrons Temperature Control Module is an easy-to-operate hot and cold temperature control module that maintains a constant temperature from 4 to 95 °C. The temperature control module comes with 3 labware adapters, which can be used to secure labware. Magnetic Bead Separation Plate Opentrons Flex Magnetic Bead Separation Plate is a 96-well magnetic well plate holder equipped with a ring magnet base. It can be used with Flex transfer plate gripper and skirted 96-well PCR plate or deep-well plate to achieve efficient Magnetic bead separation and purification function. Thermal Shaker Opentrons thermal shaker provides well plate heating and orbital vibration functions. This module can heat to 95°C and shake samples in the frequency range of 200 to 3000 rpm. It can be used with most commercially available deep well plates and 96-well plate compatible.
