It can provide a constant temperature from 4\u00ba-95\u00baC and occupies 2 slots on the deck of OT-2. Uniformity: Indicates the temperature change (+\/-) measured across the entire top plate surface. Temperature adjustment time: Indicates the total time required for the top plate of the temperature module to reach the required steady-state temperature. Test environment: Data were collected in an experimental environment with a temperature of 22\u00baC and a relative humidity of 37%RH. The above figure shows that the temperature value provided by the temperature control module is relatively stable and accurate, and can reach the required temperature in a short time and provide constant temperature conditions.<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p><strong>Temperature control module with 1.5-2ml aluminum block<\/strong> Equipped with a 1.5-2ml aluminum block, the temperature control module contains 24 well slots and can heat 24 samples at a time. The 1.5-2ml aluminum block provides a more uniform and stable temperature. Environmental conditions and condensation phenomena In order to make the temperature control module and its corresponding aluminum block reach an ideal cold temperature close to 4\u00b0C, it is recommended that the laboratory temperature be controlled below 22\u00b0C and the relative humidity controlled below 40%. Opentrons has not verified that the temperature module will function properly under laboratory conditions of higher temperature, humidity, or a combination of both. If the temperature of the temperature control module is below room temperature, the operator may observe condensation on the module surface. The exact temperature at which condensation occurs depends on atmospheric temperature and relative humidity conditions. 2. The best heating method. We recommend that users use the water bath heating method to conduct constant temperature experiments. The water bath can make the temperature of the liquid in the slot more uniform, more accurate and more stable. The following figure shows the most suitable aluminum block water bath volume in each hole slot. The Opentrons thermal cycler module is sealed with a silicone sealing film to reduce sample evaporation. The sealing membrane is attached to the lid rather than directly to the module to facilitate pipetting. Each sealing film can be used for approximately 20 temperature cycling applications.<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p><strong>Product Maintenance<\/strong> 1. Cleaning and disinfection steps (be careful not to disinfect by spraying) 1) Turn off the module. Unplug all cables. 2) Moisten a paper towel with alcohol or bleach and wipe the module. Note that you need to avoid disconnecting electronic devices and power supplies during the wiping process. 3) Dry with a dry paper towel. Be careful not to clean the temperature display, power button, power input port, or USB port of the temperature control module. 2.
