The platform is open source, so any lab can use it, can be customized for different workflows and is toolkit-agnostic. While many of our customers use the popular Zymo Quick-DNA\/RNA Virus Kit, we have validated and used multiple SARS-CoV-2 RNA extraction kits on the OT-2.
