This method has higher throughput, faster speed and lower cost than traditional Sanger sequencing. High-throughput sequencing technology can sequence hundreds of thousands to millions of DNA molecules at a time, making it possible to conduct detailed and comprehensive analysis of the transcriptome and genome of a species.<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:image {\"id\":3300,\"sizeSlug\":\"full\",\"linkDestination\":\"none\"} -->\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img src=\"https:\/\/opentrons.com.cn\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/image-102.png\" alt=\"\u9ad8\u901a\u91cfdna\u6d4b\u5e8f\u6cd5\" class=\"wp-image-3300\"><\/figure>\n<!-- \/wp:image -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>The development of high-throughput sequencing technology began in 2005, when 454 Life Sciences launched the 454 FLX pyrosequencing platform. Subsequently, Illumina and Roche also launched their own sequencing platforms, which represent representatives of high-throughput sequencing technology. High-throughput sequencing technology is widely used and is a leading technology at the forefront of genetic testing. It will play an important role in tumor prevention, tumor treatment, prenatal genetic disease testing, and newborn genetic testing. It can sequence hundreds of thousands to millions of DNA molecules at a time.<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>Including but not limited to fields such as basic biological research, medical diagnosis, biotechnology and forensic biology. For example, the determination of the complete sequence map of the human genome and the sequencing of the genomes of numerous animal, plant and microbial species are examples of applications of high-throughput sequencing technology. NGS genetic testing has the advantages of high sensitivity and multi-gene parallel detection, and is widely used.
