Installation steps of gun pipette (multi-channel pipette) 1. Preparation (1) Make sure all parts are dry, clean and not damaged. (2) Read the pipette instruction manual carefully to understand the specific installation steps and precautions. 2. Installation steps (1) Install the pipette head: Use the correct rotation installation method to vertically insert the pipette into the pipette head (the same applies to both bulk pipette heads and boxed pipette heads). While pressing down gently, slightly turn the gun tip left and right to make sure it is tight. Be careful not to use excessive force to avoid damaging the internal parts of the pipette. (2) Assemble the main body of the pipette: carefully insert the spring into the piston, making sure that the side with the larger radius of the spring ring is facing downwards. Place the assembled spring and plunger into the lower half of the pipette. Use the spring retaining cap to compress the spring and tighten. (3) Insert the upper handle: Insert the assembled lower half into the upper handle until you hear a \"click\" connection sound. Make sure the upper and lower parts are tightly coupled to avoid leakage or loosening. (4) Install the sleeve: Press and hold the release button (or fully press the control button) and install the sleeve on the release lever. Aspirate liquid (1) Keep the pipette in an upright position, insert the pipette tip vertically into the solution, and ensure that the tip of the pipette tip is immersed in the solution. Do not touch the pipe tip to the inner wall of the container containing the liquid to avoid inhaling air or contaminating the solution. (2) Slowly release the button of the pipette, aspirate the liquid, and hold for 1 to 2 seconds to ensure the accuracy and precision of the pipetting. 5. Liquid discharge (1) Move the gun head above the target container, press the button to the first stop point, and discharge the liquid with the set range. If you need to drain the remaining liquid, you can continue to press the button to the second stop point. (2) After draining the liquid, keep the button pressed and take the gun head out of the container to avoid liquid dripping or residue. 6. Precautions (1) When using the pipette, avoid laying it flat or upside down to prevent the liquid in the tip from contaminating the pipette or corroding the internal parts. (2) The pipette is strictly prohibited from absorbing highly volatile and corrosive liquids, such as concentrated acid, concentrated alkali, organic matter, etc. (3) After use, the pipette range should be adjusted to the maximum value and the spring returned to its original shape to extend the service life of the pipette.
